The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Good for the Body, Good for the Soul

Last fall, I started doing a Body & Soul aerobics class at the church we were attending at that time. It has been such a great experience - I never realized I would love it so much! I am not very coordinated (understatement of the year), but this class makes me feel like I'm getting better at it. They do the same routines to the same songs each class (the songs/routines change each session, which is about every 10-12 weeks), so we get the chance to actually learn the routines, and then it feels almost like dancing! It's fun, it feels good, and the music is awesome. This session, at least 5 of the songs are from Chris Tomlin's See the Morning cd - one of my favorites.

Before today, it had been 2 weeks since my last class, due to Memorial Day, a doctor's appointment and a friend coming over (the class meets Mondays and Fridays). I could really tell a difference at how out of shape I've gotten! I was doing really well with eating better and exercising, up until about a month ago, and I can feel that it's catching up with me. Nathaniel and I are going on a kayak camping trip in three weeks, so I am hoping that will give me some motivation to get back in shape by then - otherwise, we are going to have a rough time of it!

Tonight I get to go scrapbooking for the third time ever. I'm planning to do a page about our recent strawberry-picking trip, so here are some pics from that. :)

I'm not sure how to do captions on here!

But this was Kaitlyn's first taste of strawberries.

I think she liked them!

My friends the two Denises (Denise H and Denise T) have been telling me to start a blog for a while. After spending a fair amount of my time reading theirs, I decided to give it a shot.
